MESSAGE BOARDS RULES:

1.            a. Do not post sexual or racial comments, or anything else that would be considered inappropriate.

b.            Do not use swear words, profanity, and any kind of “naughty” talk.

c.            Using spaces, symbols or creative spelling to try to hide those profane words is also not allowed.

d.            This includes posting links to sites with offensive and/or inappropriate content.

2.            Do not spam the boards.

a.            This includes repetitive posts and/or replies

b.            Also, splitting of replies into separate posts in an obvious attempt to increase a user's number of chat posts.

3.            Post topics at the correct boards.

 

a.            The message boards are categorized according to specific topics. Take note and post your messages in the correct category.

4.            Do not post third-party advertisements and promoting of rival sites.

a.            Do not post messages promoting other sites to recruit or enjoin others to sign-up. Venetopia will not be responsible if anything untoward happens to your account or computer if you go to these sites.

b.            Third-party sites constitutes sites not related to Venetopia.

5.            Do not insult, harass and/or instigate fights with other players on the boards.

6.            Do not use the message boards as a dating service.

a.            Do not post messages to find a girlfriend/boyfriend for yourself or anyone else.

 

USER LOOK-UPS, EUTOPIAS & SHOP DESCRIPTION RULES:

 

1.            Your look-ups and eutopia/shop descriptions should not contain anything with offensive and/or inappropriate content.

2.            Do not use backgrounds with images belonging to other sites without their expressed permission.

3.            Do not use your look-up, eutopia or or shop to promote another site(s) unrelated to Venetopia.

4.            Do not use your look-up, eutopia or shop to malign, insult or harass another player.

 

 

OTHER/GENERAL RULES:

 

1.            1. Attempting to send fraudulent scores on the games is strictly prohibited. If you are caught doing this, your account will be frozen immediately!

 

2.            Using any type of program to automatically play Venetopia is also strictly prohibited. You will be caught, and you will be frozen!

 

3.            Mostly the same rules apply to mails in the Post Office as in the Message Boards.

 

4.            Trying to trick any user into giving you their password, using a fake login screen to steal their password, or any other type of scam will result in an immediate freeze of your account!

5.            You are allowed to use Venetopia images/content on a website of your own, but you are NOT allowed to claim it as your own.  Also, if you use anything made by Venetopia, you must put the following copyright notice on any page that has Venetopia images/content : “© Copyright Venetopia 2003, All Rights Reserved.  Used With Permission.”  We reserve the right to remove this privilege at any time.

 

6.            You are not allowed to sell, market, reproduce, or copy any material from Venetopia without the written permission or a copyright notice!

 

7.            Venetopia is not be liable for information uploaded, sent, shared, posted, or offered on Venetopia that does not directly belong to Venetopia. This includes links (URLS), images, or literary documentation. Every user is to abide by all Terms and Conditions and local, national, and international laws. Users submitting links to sites containing inappropriate material will have their account frozen and legal action taken upon them if necessary.
